Free Tutoring for Your Child!

With NO Child Left Behind funding your child can receive tutoring help in reading and mathematics because our school is in School Improvement. This is called Supplemental Educational Services (SES). The school and the provider will work together to increase your child’s ability in reading and/or mathematics after school and/or weekends. Guidelines as to how parents choose a provider for your child to receive this service, at no charge to you, are following.

WHO can apply: Any student who was approved to receive free or reduced lunch, using the form you completed and returned to the school, is eligible.

HOW do I know who can offer this tutoring: A list of providers, approved by the Ohio Department of Education, is enclosed. For more information about provider’s services, you can also go online at:

APPLICATIONS DUE: by November 12, 2009 in the main office at school.  For your convenience you can download and print the Supplemental Education Services (SES) Request Form.

 

Availability of this free tutoring may be limited.
You are responsible for your child’s attendance at each tutoring session.
You will receive a letter advising you when the free tutoring will start.
